Joel charmed guests at The Farmhouse for two years as Chef de Cuisine before stepping away to take a job with a local catering company. Joel returned to Veritas in January 2016 as Executive Chef, and has been filling our bellies and our hearts ever since. In his time away from the winery, Joel loves to wood work and lives just outside Charlottesville with his lovely wife Kelly, daughter Savannah, and two dogs, Batman and Robin.
