Mousseux refers to the French word mousse, meaning bubbles. This Extra Dry pink sparkler is made in the traditional method used in Champagne, France. Sometimes we use Cabernet Franc and sometimes we use Merlot and sometimes we use both, it all depends on the weather. The grapes are harvested early to preserve acidity and left in contact with the skins for twenty four hours.
Pale pink in color with salmon highlights, Mousseux has a mousse of fine bubbles that stream from the bottom of the glass. This elegant rose is reasonably full-bodied with refined berry notes and a faintly floral finish.
