Veritas wines may be purchased at the winery, online, and at fine establishments throughout Virginia. The winery is open Mon-Fri from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sat-Sun from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We enjoy meeting our customers, so please come for a visit.  Veritas wines may be purchased at many locations throughout Virginia, from restaurants to wine shops to B&Bs.

Scintilla™

Scintilla™ is a brut sparkling wine made in the traditional method that is used in Champagne, where the second fermentation is completed inside of the bottle to trap the bubbles. Scintilla™ is also a Blanc de Blancs style, which means it is comprised of 100% Chardonnay. These grapes are harvested at the perfect time to preserve the clean acidic character you find in the finished wine. Scintilla™ shows a rich golden color and has a brilliant reflection with small elegant bubbles. The aroma and flavors are extremely fresh and crisp reminiscent of acidic fruits such as lemon, green apple and pear, accented by a touch of yeast and toasted brioche. The finish is clean, long and showing beautiful acidity which is heightened by creamy overtones.

Sauvignon Blanc 2011

2011 Veritas Sauvignon Blanc is an intensely aromatic, mouth-wateringly crisp, bone dry white wine. The aromas and flavors are of newly-cut grass, gooseberries, passion fruit and all kinds of citrus. Enjoy Sauvignon Blanc for the "jeunesse,"- the youth of the wine - the younger the better. The balance carries throughout the bone-dry finish and would be a perfect complement to shellfish and seafood dishes.

White Star

“White Star” shows to be a complex but palate friendly style of wine. The varietal blend of Viognier, Traminette, Chardonnay, and Petite Manseng create layers of ripe tropical fruits such as peach, apricot, mango, pineapple, tangerine and coconut that meld beautifully with the bright acidity. Petit Manseng 2010

Petit Manseng is a white wine-producing grape that originates in the Jurancon region of southwest France, where it is highly regarded. The 2010vintage ripened the grape beautifully letting the grape reach 28% sugar at harvest. The amazing part about this vintage was the cool nights allowed this grape to retain naturally high acidity creating an amazing balance. The tropical flavors are jumping out of the glass with pineapple, mango, and candied citrus fruits backed with subtle nuances of spice and white flowers. The acidity carries the crisp, ripe flavors and allows the 10% residual sugar to become perfectly balanced as it resonates into a long clean finish.

Kenmar 2009

Call it what you want, this is a wine of outstanding aromatic intensity. Seductive might be the right word, alluring another; Kenmar excites the sense of smell with the honeyed luxury of fragrant roses. Mousseux

Mousseux is an extra-dry sparkling wine made in the traditional method that is used in Champagne, where the second fermentation is completed inside of the bottle to trap the bubbles. The Merlot grapes are harvested at the perfect time to preserve the clean acidic character. The 24 hour contact between the skin and juice during the first fermentation is what lead to the beautiful rose’ color and light red fruit flavors. Mousseux shows a deep pink color with salmon highlights and has small elegant bubbles. The aroma and flavors are rich and fresh reminiscent of cherry, raspberry and strawberry. The finish is clean, long and showing beautiful acidity and intensity of fruit.

Rosé 2010

Rosé is a sure sign that spring has arrived. The beautiful light color is natural and is achieved by bleeding the juice from the skins of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, after 24 hours of skin contact resulting in the deep pink color with salmon hues towards the rim. The nose is rich with berries and spice with soft floral aromas. The palate continues with fresh strawberries and cherries accented by a dry finish similar to the dry Rosé's of southern France. This wine best enjoyed in its youth and is extremely versatile when paired with foods, mainly seafood or chicken dishes that have Mediterranean flair.
