Veritas at Charleston Wine & Food

Emily CharlestonWhat a weekend! Emily, George and Tralyn travelled down to Charleston, South Carolina last Friday to pour wines in the Charleston Wine and Food Festival, which takes place annually in the historic city. We were so honored to be included with some of our friends such as Boxwood Estate Winery and Early Mountain Winery among others.

On Friday evening we were at 652 King Street for The Roasted Goat pouring our 2013 Petit Verdot. Who knew that the earthy flavors layered in the Petit Verdot would be such an complement to the goat!

On Saturday afternoon we were at Shucked in the Charleston Harbor. The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc got great feedback and we quickly ran out of it, which we take as a good sign. The scene was poetically described as a “wedding reception for the perfect marriage of oysters on a half shell and Sauvignon Blanc.”
